  1. Hmmm, I think Take my Hand has the best ring to it. It makes me think it's a sentimental kind of work, which I would be interested in. Number's one and two don't do anything for me and I'd probably not look twice. Numbers 3 and 5 make me think of cheesy romance. I guess that's your choice too seeing as it's the title of your blog, right ? :o)

  2. My problem is these titles are so different I have no idea what kind of book they might belong to.

Choices is generic, and reminds me of one of the trashy novels my mom used to read. See it in flowy script with a picture of a rose lying on satin sheets with a glass of wine on the cover?

I like Beckoned. I think paranormal or suspense (good for me), but may not be what you're going for.

    Sunset Gates is okay.

Take My Hand -- My first impression is that this is going to be a sappy book. I don't do sap. Not in greeting cards, not in books.

Caught in Thrall - see Choices only this time the picture is of a flame haired woman about to tumble out of the top of her dress...but there's her fierce lover lips pressed to her throat about to rip the dress off. Either way, she's about to get nekkid.

  3. I think Beckoned would be most likely to catch my eye. The Sunset Gates is pretty good, too - but Beckoned makes me think of paranormal, which I love.

  4. I like Take My Hand the best. Assuming you're going for a kind of love/friendship story, or something about the strength of relationships, this conveys such a lovely feel.

  5. I think we should specify, it's YA fantasy. I'll post a comment responding to all the suggestions and comments after the blogfest is over. Mmmk? :)

  6. I think I like Sunset Gates best (maybe remove 'The' from it)
Choices-no, every novel is about choices.
    Beckoned 2nd place
    the others meh

  7. I love The Sunset Gates; when I glanced at it first, that was the title that made me look back. The others are okay, but The Sunset Gates are the better choice for me.

  8. I'd go with "The Sunset Gates" -- and you want to keep "the" in the title, so someone doesn't misinterpret it as a person named Gates. ;-b

  9. The Sunset Gates or Beckoned were the two that stuck out for me.

  10. THE SUNSET GATES is my favorite -- both poetic and mysterious, Roland

  11. I'm gonna go with most of the others on this one. I like Beckoned and The Sunset Gates.

  12. Take My Hand is my favorite, it is active and engaging. I also like Beckoned.

  13. I like Enthralled. It is short and catches my attention the most. Most of the others are a little generic. The last one just confuses me. I don't get it. Is Thrall a place? Cause it just sounds weird if it's the thrall I'm thinking about. I dunno. Okay, I looked it up in my dictionary. What it means makes sense now but I had to look it up to know so that probably hurts more than helps.

  14. Caught in Thrall sounds luring to me. I wonder if it's a sweeping, escapism romance, maybe a bit of intrigue involved?

Sunset Gates sounds like a retirement community. I can see an old couple falling in love and exploring the nearby forest, finding adventure after adventure. ;)

  15. I like "The Sunset Gates." It just sounds cool, you know? Like I want to go to a place called The Sunset Gates. It must have a ballin' name 'cause it's a ballin' place, right?

  16. Thanks everybody. Take My Hand is just an epic line from about chapter five. But our original title is Beckoned. However, since it is (will be) a series, and so many of you liked the Sunset Gates, we decided to name the series The Sunset Gates Series/Trilogy/Novels. And book 1 is (still) Beckoned. Thank you everybody!!! :)

  17. Beckoned! Beckoned, beckoned, beckoned! =D

  18. Hm, I like the Sunset Gates. Beckoned in nice, too, but what about Beckon? Just sounds more active to me.

Thanks for stopping by my blog, I came to return the favor and I'm happy I did, this is great!

  19. OOOh I like The Sunset Gates! That would work for paranormal/fantasy/sci-fi/alternate history and a whole load of genres. Choices is a little generic, Beckoned is good too but doesn't...call to me (trying not to say beckon, here...*wink*). Take My Hand is nice, but reminds me of that Beatles Song... it was the beatles, right?

And I think your solution is perfect! The Sunset Gate Cycle, maybe? ; P
